Please Forgive Me For My Honesty

I am starting to understand how the prophets of old could look upon their society and weep about how the people were acting and how they believed. When looking upon our own society it is easy to become clouded about the sugar coating being placed upon everything and how so many are being told what they want to hear. We are being told everything that we want is at our finger tips and that the road to salvation is easy and through that salvation we will escape any trials that will unfold upon the earth.

Its understandable that many want to believe this message, that we all want to have the easy road to salvation and that our trials will be limited through faith. Unfortunately, this is not what we are told in Scripture. Salvation is the road less taken and entails that we carry our cross every day. That we forsake our being and that we feel for our fellow man more than ourselves. This is easy to say and easy to preach but very few within our society are doing this. I am as guilty as everyone else. We must understand that none of us have achieved this level of personal character and if anyone tells you they have, they are lying to you. We are flawed beings and will be flawed until we receive our new bodies through the salvation of our Creator.

My heart aches at my own trials and tribulations and my own failures but it also aches when I look upon my fellow man. I see the actions of all those around me, proclaiming Christians included, and see nothing but hypocrisy. Everyone is willing to point out the failures of those around them, but they are not willing to look at themselves. Jesus once said that we must pull the plank from our own eye before trying to pull the splinter from someone else’s eye. We, as a society, are failing at this. We have become so bitter and evil that we condemn anyone who may say something that we disagree with. We refuse to study the Word of God to find answers and rely upon what we have been taught. How do you tell someone that what they have been taught since childhood is wrong and that they are on the path of destruction? How can anyone get through to someone so arrogant and proud, proclaiming the gospel, when they have no real clue about the teachings of God?

My heart aches. I cry out to everyone that I can to see what is happening to our world and our Church. I beg for those to listen and instead those same individuals proclaim heresy. Again, how can anyone get through to someone who is unwilling to challenge their faith to determine what they have been taught is true? This task feels like one that is unwinnable, but my faith tells me it must be a task that is challenged.

We must proclaim the truth no matter what forces come upon us. We must continue to fight until the fight has either been won or the race has been finished. We must honor those who have come before us and have done the exact same thing for their generation.

I feel what the prophets of old felt. I am understanding their heart and how they could cry out to God about what their civilization was doing. I will make sure I honor their memory and do the same for my people during the time of our trial.

Thank you for listening and please forgive me for my honesty.

Extinction Rebellion: Christians Can Deny It All They Want but Climate Change Is All Over the Prophetic Word

“Dear friends, this is now my second letter to you. I have written both of them as reminders to stimulate you to wholesome thinking. I want you to recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the command given by our Lord and Savior through your apostles.

Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, ‘Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.’ But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water. By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgement and destruction of the ungodly.

But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like thousand years, and a thousand years is like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.

So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and peace with him. Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do other Scriptures, to their own destruction.

Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.” (2 Peter 3: 1-18)

When reading Scripture, it completely boggles the mind to see the stances the modern Church takes on events unfolding around our world. We are told over and over that this heaven and earth will pass away and be destroyed and the descriptions given mimic the Climate Change we are experiencing today.  Yet Christians still deny that Climate Change is real.  How can we believe what the Holy Word states and then deny its relevance when it appears before our eyes?  This is so hard to understand, and only complete lunacy could allow believers to become so jaded to deny what is happening around our world.

Every day we are witnessing climatic event around the globe. Stories of floods, fires, tornadoes, earthquakes, hurricanes are so prevalent that modern man is becoming desensitized until their impact directly influences the individual. Revolts occur showing the tenacity against those pointing out what is unfolding around the world and this belief is getting so chaotic that violence has been breaking out. Even using propaganda is demonizing the children who have the courage to speak up about what is happening. Again, how can Christian’s deny the changes in our climate when the Bible specifically states these events will occur?

“Listen to me, my people; hear me, my nation: Instruction will go out from me; my justice will become a light to the nations. My righteousness draws near speedily, my salvation is on the way, and my arm will bring justice to the nations.

The islands will look to me and wait in hope for my arm. Lift up your eyes to the heavens, look at the earth beneath; the heavens will vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment and its inhabitants die like flies. But my salvation will last forever, my righteousness will never fail.” (Isaiah 51: 4-6)

The world is pleading just like the prophet Isaiah during his time for the nations to listen to his cry. Why are Christians so blind? Why have they turned a blind eye to what is going on?  The only conclusion that can be made is their arrogant stance of escapism and the fact they believe they will not be present during any of the Tribulation Period.  How else could they completely deny the fact that the world’s climate is changing?

“There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time, they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” (Luke 21: 25-28)

The most disturbing revelation is that most Christians who are proclaiming the coming of our Savior is near, are also the ones who are standing firmly against climate change, stating it’s a political ploy. The coming of the Messiah and the destruction of this world coincide and there is not distinction between them. Understanding this fact, we have to then consider the message of those preaching this, and consider they have no idea what they are stating. How can you deny that Climate Change will happen when Scripture clearly states that this is a definite?  Why would you mislead so many to believe that your teaching is correct when you are specifically preaching against Scripture?

“The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was allowed to scorch people with fire. They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him.” (Revelation 16: 8-9)

&

“The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down on the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up and all the green grass was burned up.

The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood, a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water – the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.” (Revelation 8: 7-11)

Regardless if the natural disaster is man-made, comes from falling stars, or are produced from the earth cleansing itself, the one thing that we cannot deny is that Scripture tells us this will happen. If anyone is to state that they believe in the Second Coming of the Messiah, but they deny that the climate of the world will change, they need to continue studying as they have missed a very important detail within Scripture. Things are going to change, regardless of who we want to blame!

“Then I saw ‘a new heaven and a new earth,’ for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, ‘Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” (Revelation 21: 1-4)

The Walking Dead: The Fate of Those Who Attack Jerusalem

“A prophecy: The word of the Lord concerning Israel.

The Lord, who stretches out the heavens of the earth, and who forms the human spirit within a person, declares. ‘I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves. On that day I will strike every horse with panic and its rider with madness,’ declares the Lord. ‘I will keep a watchful eye over Judah, but I will blind all the horses of the nations. Then the clans of Judah will say in their hearts, ‘The people of Jerusalem are strong because the Lord Almighty is their God.’

On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a firepot in the woodpile, like a flaming torch among sheaves. They will consume all the surrounding peoples right and left, but Jerusalem will remain intact in her place. The Lord will save the dwellings of Judah first, so that the honor of the house of David and of Jerusalem’s inhabitants may not be greater than that of Judah. On that day the Lord will shield those who live in Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel of the Lord going before them. On that day I will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem.

And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son. On that day the weeping in Jerusalem will be as great as the weeping of Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. The land will mourn, each clan by itself, with their wives by themselves: the clan of the house of David and their wives, the clan of the house of Nathan and their wives, the clan of the house of Levi and their wives, the clan of Shimei and their wives, and all the rest of the clans and their wives.” (Zechariah 12: 1-14)

“On that day a fountain will be opened to the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and impurity. On that day, I will banish the names of the idols from the land, and they will be remembered no more,’ declares the Lord Almighty. ‘I will remove both the prophets and the spirit of impurity from the land. And if anyone still prophesies, their father and mother, to whom they were born, will say to them, ‘You must die, because you have told lies in the Lord’s name.’ Then their own parents will stab the one who prophesies.

On that day every prophet will be ashamed of their prophetic vision. They will not put on a prophet’s garment of hair in order to deceive. Each will say, ‘I am not a prophet. I am a farmer; the land has been my livelihood since my youth.’ If someone asks, ‘What are these wounds on your body?’ they will answer, ‘The wounds I was given at the house of my friends.’

‘Awake, sword, against my shepherd, against the man who is close to me!’ declares the Lord Almighty. ‘Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered, and I will turn my hand against the little ones.’

‘In the whole land,’ declares the Lord, ‘two-thirds will be struck down and perish; yet one-third will be left in it. This third I will put into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are my people,’ and they will say, ‘The Lord is our God.’” (Zechariah 13: 1-9)

A day of the Lord is coming, Jerusalem, when your possessions will be plundered and divided up within your very walls. I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city. Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights on a day of battle.

On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountains moving north and half moving south. You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.

On that day there will be neither sunlight nor cold, frosty darkness. It will be a unique day – a day known only to the Lord – with no distinction between day and night. When evening comes, there will be light.

On that day living waters will flow out from Jerusalem, half of it east to the Dead Sea and half of it west to the Mediterranean Sea, in summer and in winter.

The Lord will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one Lord, and his name the only name. The whole land, from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become like the Arabah. But Jerusalem will be raised up high from the Benjamin Gate to the site of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses and will remain in its place. It will be inhabited; never again will it be destroyed. Jerusalem will be secure.

This is the plague with which the Lord will strike all the nations that fought Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. On that day people will be stricken by the Lord with great panic. They will seize each other by the hand and attack one another. Judah too will fight at Jerusalem. The wealth of all the surrounding nations will be collected – great quantities of gold and silver and clothing. A similar plague will strike the horses and mules, the camels and donkeys, and all the animals in those camps.

Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, The Lord Almighty, and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, they will have no rain. If the Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will have no rain. The Lord will bring on them the plagues he inflicts on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles. This will be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.

On that day Holy to the Lord will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, and the cooking pots in the Lord’s house will be like the sacred bowls in front of the altar. Every pot in Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to the Lord Almighty, and all who come to sacrifice will take some of the pots and cook in them. And on that day, there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the Lord Almighty.” (Zechariah 14 1-21)

As the Middle East descends into chaos and the entire world is watching Jerusalem become a burdensome stone, the statement that Israel cannot be destroyed is being stated by most Christian believers. The Church has been taught that God will supernaturally protect the state of Israel and that during the coming war, the Holy Land will see no destruction. Again, what many are being taught is not what the Word of God specifically states.

The reason for the long passage to start this presentation is to show the whole story about what is going to come upon the land of Israel and the entire world. As the opposing forces become more emboldened against Israel, we move closer to the time when their siege will begin. The passage within Zechariah shows that the inhabitants of the land of Judah will consume all the surrounding people with their fire. To the average Christian, the land of Judah represents the land of Israel but understanding that the land of Judah is currently the West Bank and controlled by the Palestinians brings understanding into this passage. The Palestinians will bring destruction to all those around them during this time. That is why Jesus gave this warning to the inhabitants of Judah:

“So, when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel – let the reader understand – then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house. Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now – and never to be equaled again.” (Matthew 24: 15-21)

Jesus specifically warned the inhabitants of the West Bank to flee prior to the greatest distress in the history of mankind. Jesus stated that this would be the beginning of the tribulation and the kickoff point would be Judah.

At this time protection will be granted to the inhabitants of the city of Jerusalem as they will be bypassed from this trial. We are told that they will witness the coming of the Messiah Jesus Christ and will see the “one they have pierced”. The free-flowing waters of the salvation of the Messiah will be provided for the salvation of the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Once the salvation of the Messiah is given to the land of Jerusalem, the souls of those who prophesied through the land will be required by God. We are told that those killed would be considered “false prophets” but God specifically states that he is coming for his shepherds. This cleansing will continue until 2/3 of the prophets of the land are killed while the final 1/3 have been tried and refined within the Fire of God. This symbolism is very similar to the event depicted within the 5th seal of Revelation:

“When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. They called out in a loud voice, ‘How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?’ Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been.” (Revelation 6: 9-11)

Not only is the land of Israel under siege but it appears that the internal struggle within the Jewish community will cause a massive uprising. The death depicted within Scripture does not align with the modern teaching that Israel will be protected and all those who support the land of Israel will prosper.

The most amazing depiction of the supernatural unfolding of these prophecies are when the city of Jerusalem falls and is ransacked by its enemies. Truth be told, only half the city will fall as currently only half the city is controlled by the Jews. The eastern half the city of Jerusalem is currently under Palestinian control.

Once the city falls, Jesus will go out to overtake the enemies of Jerusalem. The supernatural depiction of the salvation of those within the city shows the Messiah standing on the Mount of Olives, splitting it in two, creating a valley for his people to escape through! What an amazing sight will behold those who witness this event! This earthquake will create the event known as the Day of the Lord and depicted within the opening of the 6th seal of Revelation:

“I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The heavens receded like a scroll rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains, they called to the mountains and the rocks, ‘Fall on us and hid us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?’” (Revelation 6: 12-17)

The Day of the Lord is depicted as a day like no other. A day that is neither day nor night and when the whole world trembles at God’s presence. When God himself comes to earth, it is done, there will be no war against him after that time. Those who have fought against the Messiah and the city of Jerusalem will witness ‘their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. On that day people will be stricken by the Lord with great panic. They will seize each other by the hand and attack one another.’ Those that survive this ordeal will be required to worship the King and celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles or they will be stricken by this plague and their lands will witness no rain.

Our God is the only God and Jesus is His son and the Messiah. Our world will witness these events soon enough but until then, we must remain strong and study to find ourselves approved. Too many within the Church have become lazy and refuse to find the truth. They only believe what they are being told and many will be surprised when they find out what Scripture truly says. With this understanding, it may change the perspective of many to know that it’s not until God himself comes to earth that we shall be changed to live with Him forever.

“Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so, we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.” (1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18)
